Today’s guest is the Founder of Lazy Jar, Justin Anyanwu.
Lazy Jar is designed to hold you accountable and help you achieve your fitness goals. It’s time to put your money where your mouth is!
In this interview, you’ll hear all about the story behind Lazy Jar, how it works, and why Justin says that walking is one of the most effective, underutilized activities we can do for weight loss and health.
Warm up Q & A:
Who would you wish happiness for right now?
My mother. Let me explain why. I grew up in Nigeria. My mother passed an exam that allowed her to get a visa as a nurse in the United States. After four years, she was able to get us green cards so that we could move to the United States. My life’s goal is to pay off even a fraction of her dedication to me.
What’s something about you, a hobby or fascination, that not too many people know about?
Retro ScifiArt. It’s a very unusual hobby because it’s hard to explain what it is that people like about it, but those who like it get it.
Thinking of all the things you’ve improved upon with your fitness and health, what’s the one thing you’re most proud of?
My flexibility. For the longest time, my idea of fitness was more linear than practical. By linear, I mean that you bench until your chest is so massive that you can barely clap your hands. I thought that was the image of fitness until I tried a Yoga class. Yoga made me realize that true strength comes from being in complete control of your body and how you move it.
If this interview were wildly successful, what would that look like to you?
The only way to know is having people reach out to me from the podcast.
