Welcome to Explore Your Fitness!
In case you're wondering what's going on here, let me give you the rundown...
My goal with EYF is to help you achieve your fitness goals. I’ll be promoting top of the line products and online courses, exploring different types of workouts and diets, and with this podcast, I’ll be bringing you closer to the people behind it all. If you'd like to be a part of this and get the latest updates delivered straight to your inbox, sign up for our newsletter below.
Today, I’m talking with the creator of Mindset for Success, Susanne Menge, and we’re covering week six which is Mental Focus.
Ah, Mental Focus, my archenemy.
I don't know if I'd say I have trouble focusing. It's more like I have trouble focusing on the right stuff. As they say, today is a world of mass distraction.
We're often expected to "multitask" at work and even if it's not expected, it seems like something we just have to do if we're going to get anything done. But what if, instead of trying to focus on several things at once (which is kind of scientifically impossible), we give our full attention to one thing at a time.
That's a big part of why I love this course. Susanne helps you build a habit of waking up every morning, moving, and getting your head straight. She helps you center your focus and get clarity before starting your day. If I don't do this, it's so much easier for me to get pulled in a hundred different directions. This way, I start my day with my goals front and center. And I can say, let the distractions come! I know what I need to do!
Susanne and I are going to dive into what this week meant to me and what I was thinking at the time. I want to remind you that Susanne’s offering $50 off this $200 course for a short time, when you use code EXPLORE at checkout.

Main message for this week:
Mental focus is the ability to walk in the world and stay steady no matter what. The willingness to set big scary goals and then stay focused on that even when your mind says "I don't want this", "I can't do this" or any other resistance that it conjures up to throw you off your life path. Just like your abs don't stay strong without regular consistent training, your mind will wander and get soft if not consistently trained. Don't let a wandering mind hold you back from what you really want.
There’s definitely more to be said about each video, email and page from this week, but I can’t give it all away. Listen to the audio above or watch the video below for a little more insight. And naturally, for the best of Mindset for Success, buy the course!
Mindset for Success is a $200 course. I know that’s not a small amount of money, at least not for me. But it is an investment that I believe could really help you be more successful in your life. It’s not magic by any means. Like anything else, what you get out of it depends on what you put in to it. Take these routines and Susanne’s advice and make it your own. Use it to build your own habits and daily routines that will help you succeed in life.
For a short time, Susanne is offering $50 off when you use code EXPLORE at checkout.
I do want to mention two other resources that will help you up your mental and physical game:

Nothing can impact your life like SLEEP, and not just the amount of sleep you get but the quality of your sleep.
